Change management is used in facilities management when parts of the services provided either internally or by an external supplier, falls below expectations, do not meet the minimum requirements set by the organisation’s leadership, or do not meet the country’s laws or regulations.

Change management is implemented either proactively, after an audit, or reactively, triggered by constant shortcomings (internal), or by regulatory inspections (external).
